Downtown Los Angeles. Midnight. Three runners take the city like a dream in motion.

This film was created to showcase Boost, adidas’ revolutionary cushioning technology that returns more energy than any foam ever made. Shot in the visual language of a car commercial, the film reframes night running as something electric, elevated, and unmistakably urban. The city becomes our backdrop and our pulse—its lights washing every frame in deep reds, ambers, greens, and blues.

The journey begins on the 6th Street Bridge and winds through downtown’s glowing arteries, ending at the Convention Center steps. At every turn, the runners move with precision and ease—framed against the skyline like high-performance machines in constant motion.

Midway through, time slows. A single footstrike compresses the Boost sole in near-stillness, capturing the transfer of force into rebound. Then, just as quickly, energy is released. The shoe snaps back, the pace accelerates, and the runners push into the final stretch—up the stairs, full stride, no hesitation.

Because energy running isn’t about what you put in. It’s about what you get out.
